A 6.000 photo time-lapse of the first day of the 2012 edition of the Ultra Music Festival. With: The Knocks, Tommy Trash, Martin Solveig, Benny Bernassi, Afrojack, Skrillex and Tiësto.
Camera (1DsmkIII) plus 20mm f2.8 mounted on the stage-management platform across the mainstage. The construction was not as solid as I hoped it would be, so the camera shifted a bit during the long series (16:00-24:00). All in all 6.000 photos taken on a Av-setting with a manual ISO correction after sunset. Photos left in their 3:2 format and processed in Lightroom (added: saturation, clarity and vibrance). After export stitched as a video in Windows Movie Maker.

In 2009 I went on an extensive trip for ANWB REIZEN Magazine to discover Vancouver Island. One of the treats, besides insanely good weather, was a roundflight by Tofino Air. As most of my friends know I’m totally crazy about flying (even though I get more than my fair share of it) but this one really was one of the best ever. Taking off in a floatplane from Tofino and cruise over the wilderness below is a sight to behold. I can only recommend everybody to do this just once, it’s worth every penny!
