		<description>Hi Aussies!

Great you are going to do some of this route. I would recommend a slightly solid bike, something between a mountain and a roadbike, my tires were a bit too thin for some parts of the road.

You can take the bikes with you on the train, sometimes a reservation is necessary (especially on the longer international trains, they have limited room for bikes) but mostly on the regional trains (there are plenty!) you shouldn&#039;t have problems bring a bike onboard. The costs are pretty low if I&#039;m not mistaken.

We had absolutely no trouble at all finding accommodation on the road, part of the story was not booking hotels ahead and we found one within 15 minutes in all places we stayed overnight. Just as you we were just out of high-season.

Our bikes were arranged by a Dutch agency, but just do a bit of Googling and you&#039;ll come across plenty companies who offer all sorts of packages (like www.bikeholidays.eu).

Good luck and enjoy the trip!!!

<description>Hi, I would love to read your article in English if possible.

Please can you tell me how my husband and I could hire bike in Dresden in September to ride to Prague. We would hire bikes with panniers or ride with small back packs. We would then want to bring the bikes back to Dresden by train.

Can we find our own accomodation along the way?

Hope you can help us aussies (both over 55!)
regards
