Kinderen Voor Kinderen

For 30 years we’ve had a thing in Holland called “Kinderen voor Kinderen” (Children for Children): a range of music CD’s with kids sings songs for kids. It’s hard to find anybody over 25 who doesn’t know a couple of the once immensely popular songs refrains. The CD series are still running but as there is so much competition from other media for children nowadays they are not as popualr as they once used. Though it must be said that the quality of the songs is still as good as ever. Sadly, due to the smaller popularity they stopped raising funds for children-chairities like they used to, it’s simply not worth it any more. Continue reading »

The past few weeks, between changing diapers and cuddling the little one, I’ve been working hard to get my latest project off the ground in the Netherlands: Large size canvas prints for kid-rooms. I’ve setup a website for all of this: KINDERKAMER.WS

I’ve gone through all of my zillions of photo’s from the past few years and managed to filter out all the animal ones. Put them together in a large folder, did a bit of hussling and threw them onto canvasses.

So, let me know if you like them or not. My contact details are in the right column, any good ideas or suggestions are more than welcome! The ordering system should be online now within days. Let’s see if this will work!

Why won’t it fly?

Taken last week at a new Unox Event (check their brilliant Newyears dive here) the Dutch Kiting Day, which was plagued by torrential rains and typically Holland weather, for fall not high summer! Anyway, I was pleased to see so many kids and parents show up and between the downpoors and it was tons of fun photogrpahing the kids. There can hardly be any better subjects in the world!
